This study aims to describe and explain: (1) a portrait of the form of social class in the novel Genduk Duku by Y.B Mangunwijaya.; (2) a portrait of the causes of social class in the novel Genduk Duku by Y.B Mangunwijaya.; and (3) a portrait of the impact of social class in the novel Genduk Duku by Y.B Mangunwijaya; using sociological theory by inventorying data in the novel Genduk Duku by Y.B Mangunwijaya. The data validation technique used in this study is triangulation. The data analysis technique is to classify and analyze data, interpret data, and conclude the results of data research and write a report on the results of data analysis. The results of the data research obtained include, among others, the results of the portrait of the form of social class in the novel Genduk Duku by Y.B Mangunwijaya, namely (a) Ndara, (b) priyayi, (c) wong dagang, and (d) wong cilik. portrait of the causes of social class in the novel Genduk Duku by Y.B Mangunwijaya, namely (a) wealth, (b) power, (c) honor (d) knowledge and education and (e) descent. Portrait of the impact of social class in the novel Genduk Duku by Y.B Mangunwijaya, namely (a) positive and (b) negative.
