This study aims to describe: (1) the structural narrative of the classic folk tale fable of the Minangkabau community in Nagari Pasar Lama, Linggo Sari Baganti District, Pesisir Selatan Regency, and (2) the social function of the classic folk tale fable of the Minangkabau community in Nagari Pasar Lama, Linggo Sari Baganti District, Pesisir Selatan Regency. This type of research is literary research, focusing on oral literature or oral folklore. The data in this study are the classic folk tale fables of the Minangkabau community in Nagari Pasar Lama, Linggo Sari Baganti District, Pesisir Selatan Regency. The data were collected through five stages, namely: (1) literature study, (2) field study, (3) interviews, (4) transcription of interview results into written form, and (5) transliteration of the transcription results from the informant's native language (Minang language) into Indonesian. The data analysis technique used in this study consists of several stages, namely: (1) classification stage, (2) interpretation stage, (3) conclusion stage, and (4) reporting stage. The results of this study show that: First, the structural narrative of the classic folk tale fable of the Minangkabau community in Nagari Pasar Lama, Linggo Sari Baganti District, Pesisir Selatan Regency consists of: (1) orientation, (2) complication, (3) resolution, and (4) code. Second, the social function of the classic folk tale fable of the Minangkabau community in Nagari Pasar Lama, Linggo Sari Baganti District, Pesisir Selatan Regency consists of: (1) entertaining, (2) educating, (3) inheriting, and (4) identity.

Song texts can basically be categorized as poetic literary works if they are composed with aesthetic, brief, poetic language, full of symbols, and contain connotative meanings. One of the interesting and popular song texts at this time is entitled “Evakuasi” which is one of the song texts in the song collection (album) Menari dengan Bayangan (hereinafter abbreviated as MdB) by Hindia. The analysis will be carried out with the aim of uncovering the meaning contained in the song text “Evakuasi” based on the stages of meaning of Riffaterre's semiotic literary works. The research category is literary research based on descriptive method. The form of data is a set of language such as words, phrases, and arrays (sentences/lines) of song texts. The meaning in the song text is analyzed using Riffaterre's semiotic paradigm which is formulated as follows: (1) unsustainibility of expression, (2) heuristic and hermeneutic reading, (3) matrix, model, and variant, and (4) hypogram. The results show that in the text of the song “Evakuasi” there is (1) unsustainibility of expression which includes replacement of meaning, deviation of meaning, and creation of meaning in the form of ambiguity and nonsense, (2) heuristic and hermeneutic reading, (3) determining matrix, model, and variant, and (4) tracing actual and potential hypograms.

Potret Struktur Kepribadian Tokoh Utama Anak dalam Novel Gejolak Dalam Awan Karya Desni Intan Suri

The portrait of the personality structure of the main character of the child in one of Desni Intan Suri's novels titled Gejolak dalam Awan (hereinafter abbreviated as GdA) was the purpose of this study. The research problem is studied based on the paradigm of personality structure in literary psychology. The data was obtained from Desni Intan Suri's work published by Tiga Serangkai Publishers in May 2018, first printing. The data is collected by reading steps, marking language devices that indicate the problem being discussed, and after that, the data is inventoried using formats. The data is analyzed by grouping inventory results using formats. Then, the data is interpreted based on the paradigm used. The interpretation results are summarized and reported in written form. The findings include first, the personality structure of the id aspect in the novel includes the desire to eat, the desire to sleep, the desire to dress, and the desire for sex. Second, the personality structure of the ego aspect of the novel includes emphasizing laziness, anger, curiosity, wanting freedom, fear, sadness, emphasizing imagination, disrespect for teachers, self-confidence, not accepting circumstances, and forgetting time. Third, the personality structure of the superego aspect of the novel includes caring for one's fellow man, establishing social relationships, loving one's parents, not giving up, praying, and tolerance.

Sajak “Mula Batu 1” karya Sapardi Djoko Damono

As a pluralistic country, Indonesia has made significant progress, with many talented writers emerging who produce a variety of literary works, including poetry. In the context of this rapid development, one writer has created a new poem that offers uniqueness in both structure and meaning. This research aims to present: (1) the discontinuity of meaning, (2) the reading process, (3) the matrix form and model, as well as variants, and then (4) the text that serves as the background (hypogram) used to reinforce the meaning of the poem “Mula Batu 1.” This study is qualitative, and the interpretation will be conducted descriptively. The data is taken from the poem “Mula Batu 1” written by Sapardi Djoko Damono (hereinafter abbreviated as MB1SDD), one of the poems in the collection "Babad Batu" published by Gramedia in 2016. Based on the results of the interpretation, it is found that the totality of the meaning of the poem MB1SDD is produced from the discovery of forms of discontinuity in language use, heuristic reading followed by hermeneutic reading, a matrix form that is not explicit, as well as models and variants, and the hypogram as reinforcement that the poem MB1SDD reflects the universe.

Potret Gaya Hidup Metropolitan Tokoh Utama Pada Novel Heartbreak Motel Karya Ika Natassa

This research describes the metropolitan lifestyle of the main character in the novel Heartbreak Motel by Ika Natassa, focusing on four aspects: image lifestyle, trends, human interest, and crisis lifestyle. This analysis uses literary sociology theory and A.B. Susanto's concept of a portrait of the metropolis lifestyle. The method used is descriptive qualitative method, by collecting data through reading techniques and marking relevant sources, as well as inventorying data in a predetermined format. The research data are words and sentences related to the metropolitan lifestyle, especially those experienced by the main character in the novel. Heartbreak Motel was published by Gramedia Pustaka Utama in Jakarta in 2023, seventh printing, with 400 pages. Data analysis involved classification of information, interpretation of results, and summary of findings. The results showed that: (1) the image lifestyle is characterized by self-image, achievement and prestige, mass media, and millennial tendencies; (2) the trend lifestyle includes activities around the city and the world, chatting in cafes, virtual lifestyles, and the selection of quality goods without regard to sustainability; (3) the human interst lifestyle involves interaction with stress, instant culture, and westernized identity; and (4) the crisis lifestyle is related to profession, and careers abroad. This research contributes to understanding the identity of metropolitan lifestyles in the modern era, as well as being a reference for literary sociology and dynamic lifestyle development.

This research aims to describe: (1) forms of social problems; (2) factors causing social problems; and (3) the impact of social problems in the short story collection Cerita Dari Blora Karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer. This type of research is a literary research with descriptive method. The data source of this research is the short stories in the short story collection Cerita Dari Blora Karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer. The data of this research are clauses and sentences derived from direct and indirect speech of the characters, as well as narratives that describe social problems in the collection of short stories Cerita Dari Blora Karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer. The instrument of this research is the researcher himself (human instrument). The research employs data collection techniques such as: (1) literature study; (2) reading and understanding data sources; (3) inventorying data; and (4) classifying data. The data validation technique in this research uses triangulation technique. The data analysis techniques used in this research are: (1) data collection; (2) data reduction; (3) data display; and (4) conclusion drawing/ verification. In the research findings, 71 data were found regarding social problems in the short story collection Cerita Dari Blora Karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer, including: (1) forms of social problems in the form of poverty, criminality or crime, disorganization out of the society.

The speech of presidential candidates can influence people's perception in determining their choice. This study aims to describe the types and functions of expressive speech acts in the presidential candidate debate of the 2024 presidential election. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. The data used in the research are the utterances of the presidential candidates in the 2024 presidential election presidential candidate debate which fall into the category of expressive speech acts. The data source comes from the audio visual recording of the 2024 presidential election presidential candidate debate on the Youtube channel of KPU RI. The data collection technique applied is the KORTARA corpus linguistic technique. The data analysis of this research goes through several stages, namely the identification stage, classification stage, and analysis stage. The research findings are as follows. First, expressive speech acts are found in the presidential candidates' debate of the 2024 presidential election as many as 220 speech data, including saying thank you 125 speeches, congratulating 6 speeches, apologizing 16 speeches, praising 7 speeches, criticizing 44 speeches, blaming 8 speeches, insinuating 9 speeches, accusing 2 speeches, and expressing anger 3 speeches. Second, the functions of expressive speech acts found are competitive function 64 utterances, convivial function 154 utterances, and conflictive function 2 utterances.

Tindak Tutur Ekspresif Masyarakat Urban dalam Webtoon Bergenre Slice Of Life

The main objective of this research is to provide a description of: (1) forms of expressive speech acts in urban communities Webtoons genre slice of life, and (2) types of expressive speech acts of the Uban Pada community Webtoons genre slice of life. A qualitative approach was applied in this research by utilizing descriptive methods. Focusing on speech data of the main characters from the three selected digital comics, namely Ojek Story, Soekirman, and Flummy Tummy. Based on the results of data analysis, the following are the findings of this research. First, the research results show that there are four forms of speech acts, namely literal direct speech acts with 96 speech data, non-literal direct speech acts with 17 speech acts, literal indirect speech acts with 28 speech data, and indirect non-literal speech acts with 2 speech acts. The most dominant form of speech act is literal direct speech act with a percentage of (67.13%). Second, the research results show that there are six types of expressive speech acts, namely expressing thanks in 35 utterances, expressing congratulations/praising in 23 utterances, apologizing in 49 utterances, condolences in 7 utterances, criticizing 13 utterances, and expressing greetings in 16 utterances. The most dominant type of expressive speech act is the expressive speech act of apologizing with a percentage of (34.27%).

Fantasi Dan Emosi Pada Novel Mata dan Nyala Api Purba karya Okky Madasari

The problem discussed is about fantasy and emotions in child characters in the novel Mata dan Nyala Api Purba by Okky Madasari. This research aims to analyze the fantasies and emotions of child characters represented in the novel and their influence on the characters. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data analysis in the form of words, phrases, clauses, or sentences that describe emotions and fantasies. The data is taken from one of Okky Madadi's Mata dan Nyala Api Purba published by PT Gramedia in 2021. Fantasy in the novel is represented through imaginary friends in the form of humans, animals, and objects. The emotions of the child characters that appear include anger, fear, jealousy, joy, and sadness. The results of the study show that fantasies and emotions not only affect the storyline, but also play an important role in shaping children's characters, fostering positive values such as honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creativity, curiosity, friendship/communicative, peace-loving, social care, responsibility, appreciating achievements, reading skills, and caring for the environment.

Strategi Bertutur Ekspresif Memuji Para Host dalam Podcast Humor di Youtube

This study aims to describe the strategy and context of expressive speech acts of praise performed by the hosts in humor podcasts on YouTube. The focus of this research is the expressive speech strategies of praising and the context that occurs in speech events by using the theory of context analysis in communicative speech SPEAKING from Dell Hymes. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with pragmatic approach. The data are in the form of speech acts of the hosts containing expressive speech acts of praise taken from 4 humor podcast channels on YouTube, namely PODKESMAS, PWK (Podcast Warung Kopi), Agak Laen, and VINDES. The data collection technique is done by listening and recording method, while the data analysis technique is done by classifying the type of speech strategy and describing the speech context based on SPEAKING analysis. The results show that out of 162 expressive speeches of praise, four types of speech strategies are found, namely the straightforward speech strategy without pleasantries as many as 92 speeches (56.8%), the positive politeness straightforward speech strategy as many as 41 speeches (25.3%), the negative politeness straightforward speech strategy as many as 24 speeches (14.8%), and the vague speech strategy as many as 5 speeches (3%). Meanwhile, the strategy of speaking silently was not found in this study. In addition, this study also found eight speech contexts in accordance with the SPEAKING model components, namely Setting and Scene, Participants, Ends, Act Sequences, Key, Instrumentalities, Norms of Interaction and Interpretation, and Genres. In conclusion, the most dominant speech strategy is the straightforward speech strategy without pleasantries, which shows that the hosts use a direct approach to build closeness with guest stars and audiences, and the speech context supports the creation of an intimate and relaxed atmosphere typical of the humor podcast genre.

This study aims to describe: (1) the forms of juvenile delinquency in the Teenlit 3600 Detik novel by Charon, (2) the causes of juvenile delinquency in the Teenlit 3600 Detik novel by Charon, and (3) the impact of juvenile delinquency in the Teenlit 3600 Detik novel by Charon. This study is a literary study using a descriptive method. The data in this study are in the form of words, phrases, clauses, or sentences related to juvenile delinquency and in the form of narrator narratives, character speech, character actions, contained in the Teenlit 3600 Detik novel by Charon. The data collection technique used in this study is the recording technique and then inventorying the data into a data inventory format. The findings of this study include (1) Forms of juvenile delinquency consisting of three, namely juvenile delinquency in the form of threats to the property rights of others in the form of objects, threats to the safety of the lives of others and oneself, and juvenile delinquency in the form of other minor delinquent acts (2) Causes of juvenile delinquency consisting of internal and external factors (3) Impacts of juvenile delinquency consisting of impacts on the teenager himself, on the family and on the community environment.

This study aims to describe: (1) the structure of the Minangkabau classic fable folklore, (2) the intrinsic elements of the classic fable folklore, and (3) the social function of the classic fable folklore. The results of the study are in the form of documentation of the classic Minangkabau fable as an effort to preserve the cultural wealth of Indonesia, especially Minangkabau. The type of research used in this study is qualitative research with a descriptive method. The data for this study are related to the structure, intrinsic elements, and social function of the classic fable folklore in Nagari Tebing Tinggi, Ranah Ampek Hulu Tapan District, Pesisir Selatan Regency. Data collection was carried out in two stages, namely, (1) the stage of recording, and (2) the stage of collecting data on the storytelling environment. The data analysis techniques in this study are, (1) the data identification stage, (2) the classification stage, (3) the discussion and storage stage of the results of the classification or data analysis, and (4) the reporting stage. The results of the study can be concluded that the structure of the classic Minangkabau fable folktale consists of: (1) orientation, (2) complication, (3) resolution, and (4) coda. The intrinsic elements of the classic fable folktale are: (1) style of language, (2) characters and characterization, (3) plot, (4) setting, (5) theme, and (6) moral. The social functions of the classic Minangkabau fable folktale are: (1) entertaining, (2) educating, (3) inheriting, and (4) identity.

This study aims to describe: (1) the structure of the folklore of the supernatural legend of the Karam Tujuah Baleh Community in Nagari Singkarak, District Koto Singkarak, Solok Regency and (2) the social function of the folklore of the supernatural legend of the Karam Tujuah Baleh Community in Nagari Singkarak, District Koto Singkarak, Solok Regency. This study is a qualitative study using a descriptive method. This research entry is a supernatural legend story of the Karam Tujuah Baleh Community in Nagari Singkarak, District Koto Singkarak, Solok Regency. Data were collected using recorded and recorded interview techniques and direct observation. The data collected were then reviewed through several stages:(1) the data inventory (recording) stage; (2) classifying and analyzing data, (3) the stage of concluding the results of the classification and data analysis; and (4) the reporting stage. Based on the results of the data analysis, the following things were found. The results of this study are concluded as follows. (1) The structure of the folklore of the supernatural legend of the Karam Tujuah Baleh community from three informants, includes:(a)characters and characterization, namely Juneh, Bujang Karam, Urang Gaek, and Urang Lua, (b) the plot of the supernatural legend of the Karam Tujuah Baleh Community is divided into three stages, namely the beginning, middle and end stages, (c) the setting includes place, time, and social, (d) language style in the form of language style, namely using the Minangkabau language dialect of Nagari Singkarak, Koto Singkarak District, Solok Regency,(e) Theme, namely the consequences of violating customary prohibitions and local wisdom, with additional values about sacrifice, obedience, and the power of tradition, (f) Message, namely for the community to respect customs, listen to the advice of parents, and be careful in acting, especially at times and places that are considered sacred by the local community. (2) The social functions contained in the folklore of the supernatural legend of the Karam Tujuah Baleh Community are to entertain, educate, inherit, and provide identity.

The purpose of this study is to determine the proportion of relatives between the two languages, namely Mandale and Minankabau. (2) Determine the length of separation between the two languages, namely, the length of separation between Mandale and Minangkabau. (3) Explain the healthy correspondence between the two languages: Mandale and Minankabau. The main tool of the researcher is the researcher himself. Other instruments used in this study are the Swadeshi vocabulary list, consisting of 200 basic vocabularies and 300 cultural vocabularies of the language, and from both supporting tools in the form of recording devices. This study uses questions and answers methods between researchers and informants. This study uses quantitative and qualitative methods. The results of this study are as follows: 210 vocabularies were found from 500 swadesh vocabularies and cultural vocabularies which include, (1) swadesh vocabulary contains 86 cognate vocabularies (2) cultural vocabulary contains 124 cognate vocabularies.

Menghidupkan Semangat Isra Miraj dalam Kehidupan Anak-Anak Nagari Dilam

This study aims to revive the spirit of Isra Mi'raj in the lives of the children of Nagari Dilam. The method of implementing this activity is divided into five important stages, namely the planning, preparation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation stages. All of these methods involve KKN members from Padang State University (UNP). Based on the method that has been designed, this activity can be carried out on January 28, 2025 by holding a children's adzan competition and also a religious lecture. Isra Mi'raj activities can provide us with many lessons, both in terms of the exemplary nature of the Prophet that can be taken and good character values that can be applied in everyday life, such as being more diligent in performing prayers, strengthening faith, and being able to gain piety. This activity is carried out so that the spirit of filling the day of Isra Mi'raj can continue to exist both from the present generation and for future generations.

This study aims to describe: (1) the physiology of doctors in the novel Belenggu Hiro by Karimatul Jannah and the novel Belenggu by Armijn Pune, (2) the sociology of doctors in the novel Belenggu Hiro by Karimatul Jannah and the novel Belenggu by Armijn Pane, (3) the psychology of doctors in the novel Belenggu Hiro by Karimatul Jannah and the novel Belenggu by Armijn Pane. This research is a literary research using a descriptive method. The data in this study are in the form of words, phrases, clauses, and sentences that indicate physiology, sociology, and psychology, either through narratives, narrators, or the actions of medical figures in the novel Belenggu Hiro by Karimatul Jannah and the novel Belenggu by Armijn Pane. The data collection technique used in this study is the record reading technique. The findings of this study include (1) the physiology of doctors which consists of two, namely gender and hair color, eyes and skin. (2) the sociology of doctors which consists of five, namely social class, occupation, education, family, and position in communication. (3) Doctor's psychology consisting of personal premises and ambitions, major frustrations and disappointments, temperament, attitude towards life, personality type, and abilities.

Tindak Tutur Asertif dalam Channel Youtube Hirotada Radifan tentang Konten Horor “Teman Cerita”

This article discusses the use of assertive speech acts in online media on the YouTube channel Hirotada Radifan in the horror content “Teman Cerita”, based on a pragmatic study. The aim of this research is to explain and describe: (1) the forms of assertive speech acts, and (2) the functions of assertive speech acts on the Hirotada Radifan YouTube channel in the horror content Teman Cerita. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research data consists of 210 monologue utterances in the Teman Cerita horror content on the Hirotada Radifan YouTube channel that refer to assertive speech acts. The method and technique of data collection in this study involve observation and note-taking techniques. Data analysis in this study includes several stages: identification, classification, interpretation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the collected data and analysis, the findings of this research are as follows. First, the forms of assertive speech acts used in the utterances on the Hirotada Radifan YouTube channel in the “Teman Cerita” horror content include stating, suggesting, reporting, boasting, demanding, claiming, and complaining. The most dominantly used form is the act of stating, which accounts for 31.90% of the 210 data points. Second, the functions of assertive speech acts used in the “Teman Cerita” horror content include competitive, convivial, collaborative, and conflictive functions. The most dominant function found is the collaborative function, comprising 72.38% of the 210 data points.A a result, the use of assertive speech acts on the Hirotada Radifan YouTube channel, particularly in the horror content “Teman Cerita”, has an effective function in delivering information or stories to the audience so that they can be easily and accurately understood.
