Tindak Tutur Asertif dalam Channel Youtube Hirotada Radifan tentang Konten Horor “Teman Cerita”

This article discusses the use of assertive speech acts in online media on the YouTube channel Hirotada Radifan in the horror content “Teman Cerita”, based on a pragmatic study. The aim of this research is to explain and describe: (1) the forms of assertive speech acts, and (2) the functions of assertive speech acts on the Hirotada Radifan YouTube channel in the horror content Teman Cerita. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research data consists of 210 monologue utterances in the Teman Cerita horror content on the Hirotada Radifan YouTube channel that refer to assertive speech acts. The method and technique of data collection in this study involve observation and note-taking techniques. Data analysis in this study includes several stages: identification, classification, interpretation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the collected data and analysis, the findings of this research are as follows. First, the forms of assertive speech acts used in the utterances on the Hirotada Radifan YouTube channel in the “Teman Cerita” horror content include stating, suggesting, reporting, boasting, demanding, claiming, and complaining. The most dominantly used form is the act of stating, which accounts for 31.90% of the 210 data points. Second, the functions of assertive speech acts used in the “Teman Cerita” horror content include competitive, convivial, collaborative, and conflictive functions. The most dominant function found is the collaborative function, comprising 72.38% of the 210 data points.A a result, the use of assertive speech acts on the Hirotada Radifan YouTube channel, particularly in the horror content “Teman Cerita”, has an effective function in delivering information or stories to the audience so that they can be easily and accurately understood.
