About the Journal

Persona: Language and Literary Studies (e-ISSN: 2964-4216) is a scientific journal published periodically every three months, managed by the Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program, Department of Indonesian and Regional Languages, Universitas Negeri Padang. This journal was established with the initial aim as a platform to accommodate research results from students and lecturers in the study program. However, over time, Persona has opened itself up to receive article contributions from authors outside the study program, providing opportunities for academics, researchers, and practitioners in the field of language and literature to share their discoveries and innovations.

The journal focuses on interdisciplinary studies in language and literature, covering various themes such as:

1. Literary Studies: In-depth research on literary works, both classical and contemporary.
2. Linguistics: The study of the structure, use, and development of language.
3. Philology: The study of ancient manuscripts scattered throughout Indonesia.
4. Culture and Identity: Exploration of how language and literature shape and reflect cultural identity.

We sincerely invite authors, academics, and researchers to contribute to this journal. With extensive collaboration, Persona is committed to continue to be a platform for eclectic and well-grounded research.
