Dekonstruksi Latar Kota Bandung dalam Novel Bandung Menjelang Pagi karya Brian Khrisna

Abstract

The focus of this research is to focus on the setting of the city of Bandung in the novel Bandung Towards MorningBrian Khrisna's work. This study aims to describe Logocentrism Bandung city background and inconsistency (differ) the setting of the city of Bandung in the novel Bandung Menjelang Pagi Brian Khrisna's work. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data analysis in the form of words, phrases, clauses, and sentences related to the background of the city of Bandung. Data was taken from one of Brian Khrisna's novels entitled Bandung Menjelang Pagi published by Mediakita in 2024. The data analysis method used is by analyzing data that has been obtained through the inventory stage, analyzing data that has been classified through the data classification stage 1, and drawing research conclusions. The theory used in this study is the deconstruction theory by Jacques Derrida. The results of this study are first, the logocentrism of the physical background and metaphysical background of the city of Bandung. Second, inconsistency (differ) physical background and metaphysical background of the city of Bandung. The background deconstruction data found were more inconsistencies (differ) metaphysical background in the city of Bandung.
