Abreviasi Tentang Covid-19 Bidang Kesehatan Dalam Akun Instagram Satgas Perubahan Perilaku

Abstract

This research aims to describe the types of abbreviations about Covid-19 in the health sector contained in the Instagram account of the Behavior Change Task Force and explain the process of forming abbreviations about Covid-19 in the health sector contained in the Instagram account of the Behavior Change Task Force. This research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. The research data comes from Instagram posts from the Behavior Change Task Force, especially captions containing abbreviations about Covid-19 in the health sector. There are three stages of data collection: (1) literature study, (2) data search or observation, and (3) collecting all data in tabular form. The method used for data collection is the documentation method using corpus linguistic techniques. Based on the research results, a total of 220 abbreviation data were found in the Instagram captions of the behavior change task force. The types of abbreviations found are (1) abbreviations, (2) acronyms, (3) contractions, (4) fragments, and (5) letter symbols. In this research, 4 abbreviation formation processes were also found, namely (1) retaining letters, (2) retaining words, (3) retaining letters and numbers, and (4) retaining letters and syllables.
